Microsoft and OpenAI are reportedly in discussions regarding a new data center project to be headquartered in the U.S. The facility, which would house an AI supercomputer called Stargate, could cost over $100 Billion, according to The Information.

Google AI Introduces ScreenAI

Screen AI is a Vision-Language Model for User interfaces (UI) and Infographics Understanding

It is a leap in tech for simpler digital interaction.

Aims to cut through the complexity of interfaces and infographics, making the digital world easier to navigate and understand.

  • Question answering: The model is asked to answer questions regarding the content of the screenshots, e.g., “When does the restaurant open?”
  • Screen navigation: The model is asked to convert a natural language utterance into an executable action on a screen, e.g., “Click the search button.”
  • Screen summarization: The model is asked to summarize the screen content in one or two sentences.
