Adobe Adds OpenAI’s Sora, RunwayML, and Pika to Premiere Pro

Adobe has announced plans to integrate third-party generative AI tools, including OpenAI’s Sora, into its popular video editing software Premiere Pro.

Adobe also released new AI-powered tools in Premiere Pro (Generative Extend, Object Addition/Removal, Generative B-Roll) and a new proprietary AI model called Firefly Video.

Microsoft unveiled WizardLM-2

WizardLM-2 is an open-source LLM family that leverages AI-powered synthetic data to achieve capabilities that compete with the top models across performance benchmarks.

­

Intel and other major tech companies commit to building open generative AI tools for businesses.

Intel, The Linux Foundation, Cloudera, Hugging Face and other major tech companies are teaming up for the Open Platform for Enterprise AI (OPEA) project. OPEA aims to create open, modular AI tools for businesses, including ones that can access external data sources. They're focusing on standardizing components, evaluating AI systems, and possibly developing open models.
