George Tsirtsis is senior director of technology at Qualcomm Technologies International, Ltd. He is based in the UK and is currently responsible for key Qualcomm technologies and platforms in Europe, including Artificial Intelligence across all technology platforms and compute systems-on-chips (SoCs).

George also had responsibility for 5G rollout in Europe, interfacing with Europe’s mobile network operators and other partners from across the ecosystem to support the delivery of excellent mobile devices using Qualcomm Technologies’ highly integrated and feature-rich solutions.  George joined Qualcomm following the acquisition of a communications technology startup, Flarion Technologies, where he was responsible for the mobility management system design, and before that he was at BT R&D labs in the UK. George holds an MSc in Telecommunications and Information systems from Essex University in the UK
